In order to ensure undisturbed coexistence between neighboring uses, such as between commercial areas, rail and traffic routes and residential areas, the immission-relevant conditions must already be recorded as part of the urban land-use planning and evaluated with regard to their influence on the acoustic assessment parameters. Any noise protection measures that become necessary must be defined.

Noise protection in urban development – Traffic noise
- Participation in urban land-use planning, noise protection for railroad and road traffic routes, urban planning and assessment of zoning according to acoustic criteria, assessment of recreational noise, protection against aircraft and shooting noise. Preparation of noise immission and noise reduction plans in accordance with § 47a BImSchG.
- We provide evidence of compliance with the requirements in the development plan in immission reports for submission to the licensing authority.
- When constructing or significantly modifying road and rail routes, noise compatibility must be ensured in accordance with current regulations. In cooperation and close coordination with the traffic planner, we optimize the necessary noise protection measures.
- Calculation and assessment of traffic noise in accordance with the Traffic Noise Protection Ordinance – 16th BImSchV. Design of passive noise protection measures in accordance with 24th BImSchV.
