At the end of the 1960s, his production company for materials for noise and vibration protection, which was founded in Berlin at the turn of the century, developed into an exclusively consulting engineering office and from there into today’s engineering company Werner Genest und Partner with offices in Berlin, Dresden and Mannheim, which provides consulting services worldwide.

Philosophy

Genest sees itself as an association of specialist engineers working on an equal footing under a common roof. For this reason, the majority of the company shares are held by Genest’s active employees.

Genest consulting engineers carry out their tasks independently and on their own responsibility, from the first contact with the customer to the preparation of the quotation and the execution of the engineering services through to invoicing. This structure with only a few hierarchical levels contributes to a high degree of responsibility of each individual and an outstanding quality of the engineering services provided.

For larger consulting projects, a consulting team adapted to the required services is naturally formed, which is led by a team leader with project responsibility.

Genest consulting engineers have acquired extensive know-how and technical expertise in all aspects of noise protection and building physics through their many years of consulting work.
