Immission control

Noise immission control

In times of constant growth, there is inevitably an increase in noise pollution. The task of noise immission control, for example, is to take into account and protect the needs of local residents when planning commercial facilities and traffic routes.

The different areas of noise immission control:

  • Industrial noise
  • Traffic noise
  • Sports and leisure noise

We support you with:

  • Acoustic investigations and consulting within the scope of approval planning for commercial operations and the construction of traffic routes
  • Dimensioning of noise protection measures
  • (Acceptance) measurements as a recognized measuring point according to § 29b BImSchG

Urban land-use planning

When creating new development areas, whether for commercial or industrial use, the concerns of noise immission control must be taken into account. The aim of noise immission control in urban land-use planning is to protect the uses requiring protection both in the plan area itself and in the surrounding areas from high levels of noise pollution. For this reason, an assessment of the existing and expected traffic and commercial noise is already required as part of the development plan process in order to meet the future protection needs of local residents.

The areas of urban land use planning:

  • Noise studies for the approval procedure of a development plan
  • Noise quotas for commercial areas
  • Dimensioning of noise protection measures (active/passive) to enable the creation of new planning areas
